This tour will let you visit Cosenza, real pearl of Calabria region. The city is located at the confluence of two rivers, the Busento and the Crati, and occupies all the surrounding hills.

Its old town centre is very interesting, since it preserves many important monuments. You’ll visit the amazing Church of San Domenico which dates back to fifteenth century. You’ll admire the wooden portal in gothic style, the rose window and the arch. The interior of the church is then characterized by baroque style. Then you’ll walk along Corso Bernardino Telesio, historic street of the city, where all the merchants and goldsmiths use to work and sell their products. You can’t miss the visit of the Swabian Castle which stands on Pacrazio Hill and overlooks the entire urban landscape. Finally, you’ll admire the Open Air Museum which hosts many modern art sculptures made by famous artists like Giorgio De Chirico, Salvador Dalì, Mimmo Rotella, Pietro Consagra, Giacomo Manzù, Emilio Greco e Sasha Sosno.
