It is an oasis of peace right in the heart of the Amalfi Coast.
The sweep of the forest, creaking of waterfalls and the smell of lemons characterise the Ferriere Valley.
Here the time goes by so slowly, people abandon themselves to the slow-running river.
The route starts in Amalfi in the direction of Pontone, a small district of Scala, here there are remains of the Saint Eustachio church and in its alleys you can admire beautiful cultivations of citrus fruits and vineyards.
All along the shores of the Canneto rivers the nature is unspoiled and preserve pre-glacial fossils and endemic species such as the fern Woodwaria radicans and the Salamandrina terdigitata.
The path is surrounded by Lattari Mounts and it is possible admire the summit of the highest peaks (Campanaro Mount, Rotondo Mount, Ciavano Mount and Cervignano Mount).
