During this tour you’ll get double experience – both historical and cultural. At first, you will see all main features of ancient Roman civilization on the best example available in the world – the city of Pompei. We will guide you through this enormous dead city along the most comfortable and informative path in just 2 hours. This will allow you to see all main highlights without haste: the Marina Gate, the Basilica (court house), the Forum (main square), the Lupanar (brothel), the house of Faun, the Termopolium Capuano, the house of Menander, as well as Baths, bakeries and famous plaster casts of the inhabitants made in the end of the 19th century.

Then we’ll transfer to Naples, which will give us unique opportunity to compare one of the most energetic cities in the world with the solemn world of the antiquity. First, to regain power, we’ll stop for a lunch in a classical pizzeria to taste the product, which originated in Naples. The tour around Naples will take 2 more hours, during which we’ll see both the historical and more recent parts of the metropolis.  We’ll see the main cathedral of the city, dedicated to Saint Gennaro.We’ll pass by the square “Piazza del Gesù” where the church of Gesù Nuovo stands. The central street called “Spaccanapoli” will lead us along the same path which used to be the central avenue (cardo) of the city in ancient times. This street will introduce you to the southern italian spirit. We’ll see the miraculous church and monastery of Saint Chiara dating from the 14th century, the famous Chapel San Severo with the stunning statue “Veiled Christ” by Giuseppe Sammartino. We’ll also see the church of Saint Lorenzo from as early as the 13th century.

- Regarding school trips, it is strictly necessary to book the tour before the visit.
- The Chapel of Saint Severo is closed on Tuesday and on the 25th December.
