    "Antonio is a star"
Antonio guided us through Pompeii recently and was a complete delight. His knowledge went far beyond what you would find in Wikipedia and made the whole 2 hours completely worth it. His English was quite good, he was very funny and charming and took time to answer questions thoughtfully. He even went so far as to continually educate the group on the historical context of Greek and Latin words and how they relate to our language today. I highly recommend asking for Antonio when you book your tour.

    "Amazing Tour"
Antonella from Askos Tours guided us on a 2 hour tour of Pompeii on Tuesday and we were not disappointed. Her knowledge and English were excellent and we would highly recommend this interesting and professional tour. Take plenty of water with you as it is very hot but there are some shaded areas.

  • "Great experience! Perfect guide (Paola)! Wish we had more time. "
My wife and I are big history buffs. We had our teenage daughters with us and we were all anxious to see the Pompeii ruins. They put our small group (about 10) with Paola (I think her last name might be Pipola - I lost the card she gave me). It was so much more extensive than we realized. Paola did a wonderful job. She was relaxed, professional, efficient and very knowledgeable. She made sure to not only tell us all about what we were seeing - she also kept telling us what to expect and details we needed for the tour (water spots, shade, etc.) - including what would help us maximize our visit if we were exploring after the tour. We had a hard stop because we had to drive to Rome by a certain time. We really would have loved to stay another hour and see other parts of the ruins.

    "Paolo was amazing!"
We were so glad we booked a small group tour. Pompeii is a wonderful historic site, but without someone to walk you through and make sense of everything it is easy to get lost (literally and figuratively). Paolo is an archaeologist who has actually worked on the excavation at Pompeii and a few of the other lost cities, and was a wealth of knowledge. His passion for the history of Pompeii made our tour informative and unforgettable!

My daughter and I had a great tour with Paolo, who spoke fantastic English and very knowledgeable. In fact, he inspired us to go to Herculaneum the next day! Money well spent! Thanks Paolo.
