The gladiators’ world.

The building where the gladiators performed in Pompeii, called the Amphitheater, had the podium decorated by a series of scenes.
One of these represents the dressing of two gladiators. The gladiator on the left is playing a bronze trumpet; the other one on the right has a shield. In the middle there is the judge of comoetition with a rod.
The second scene represents a lion hunting a horse.
